Tell us about yourself.:
I am a fiction writer and write love stories. I am from India. So most of my stories are set in Indian cities and reflect Indian cultures. So far, I have written only one short love story, i.e., “My School-Day Crush,” but my next book will come soon.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?:
I grew up in a small town in India, which is located in the eastern part of India. As a child, I was fond of reading books. In those days, books and magazines were popular among people to pass time. Gradually, I got inclined towards reading books and then I became fond of writing.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write while lying in bed. Sometimes I start writing on my smartphone at work when a great scene or idea pops up in my mind.

What authors have influenced you?

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Sure. Read and read and read. Then, try writing your own.

I don’t remember any such thing because I never told anyone about my writing habits.

What are you reading now?
To be honest, nothing.

What’s your biggest weakness?
I’m very lazy.

What is your favorite book of all time?
No particular book. I love reading suspense novels and love fiction novels. So any book in these genres is my favourite.

When you’re not writing, how do you like to spend your time?
By watching movies.

Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I remember the story of the hunter and the ant – a story I read in my childhood and tried to write myself. By the way, I was very influenced by the animal stories that appeared in children’s magazines.

What has inspired you and your writing style?
Although I started out reading children’s stories, as I grew older, I became very interested in romance stories. I read a few romance novels and decided to write my own romance novels.

What are you working on now?
I am working on my next book which is a suspense-love story.

What is your favorite method for promoting your work?
Social media.

What’s next for you as a writer?
I want to be known as a professional writer.

How well do you work under pressure?
It depends on my interest, willingness, and upcoming books.

How do you decide what tone to use with a particular piece of writing?
I am not that level. I start writing, and everything comes to me naturally. I think you got my point.

If you could share one thing with your fans, what would that be?
I don’t know. Actually, I never thought about it.
