Tell us about yourself.:
I’m ACWstories, a passionate writer, poet, and artist with a deep-seated love for storytelling. Raised in Germany, I’ve always been captivated by the power of words and the art of creation. My journey into writing was fueled by a desire to process my own experiences and connect with others on a profound level. I write mainly from personal experiences, channeling my struggles and triumphs into my work to foster understanding and empathy.
Currently, I live in a space that encourages creativity, whether it’s my cozy writing nook or the serene outdoor settings where I find inspiration. When I’m not writing, you might find me sketching, enjoying nature, or savoring the calm of the garden. My beloved cat and dog often keep me company, adding warmth to my creative process. Through my books and poetry, I aim to break the stigma around mental health and offer solace to those who might feel alone in their struggles.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?:
I grew up in Germany, where my childhood was marked by challenges that deeply influenced my writing. The difficulties I faced during those formative years are reflected in Luna’s Saga. My experiences with trauma and resilience became the heart of Luna’s journey, shaping the narrative and themes of the series. These personal struggles inspired me to create stories that explore the depths of human emotion and the process of healing. By channeling my own experiences into Luna’s story, I hope to offer readers a sense of connection and understanding, showing that even in the darkest times, there is a path to recovery.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Absolutely! One of my favorite writing habits is getting creative late into the night on my front porch. There’s something about the tranquility of the evening and the calmness of the night air that fuels my creativity. I switch between my phone, iPad, and Mac, capturing ideas as they come to me. I also take out my sketchbook and pencils to draw or sketch scenes and emotions related to my story. This nightly ritual not only helps me connect with my writing but also allows me to fully immerse myself in the emotions and experiences I want to convey.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Absolutely. For new authors, my advice is to embrace the journey with patience and persistence. Writing is as much about perseverance as it is about creativity. Don’t be discouraged by setbacks or slow progress; every step, even the challenging ones, is a part of your growth as a writer. Seek feedback, learn from it, and don’t be afraid to take risks in your storytelling. Most importantly, stay true to your voice and vision. Your unique perspective is what will make your work stand out.
What is the best advice you have ever been given?
The best advice I’ve ever received is to embrace vulnerability in my writing. It’s easy to shy away from the raw, uncomfortable truths, but it’s in those very moments of honesty that a story truly resonates. By allowing myself to be open and genuine, I’ve found that my work not only becomes more authentic but also creates a deeper connection with readers. This advice has been instrumental in shaping both my writing process and the powerful messages embedded in my books.
What are you reading now?
Currently, I’m diving into a mix of genres. I’m exploring a classic novel to understand the foundations of storytelling and also reading a contemporary book that delves into mental health themes. This blend helps me balance traditional narrative techniques with modern perspectives, enriching my own writing process.
What’s your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness is my tendency to be overly critical of my own work. I often struggle with perfectionism, which can lead to second-guessing and delaying projects. While this drive for perfection can push me to improve my writing, it also makes it challenging to move forward and share my work confidently. I’m learning to embrace imperfections and recognize that growth comes from both successes and mistakes.
What is your favorite book of all time?
My favorite book of all time is *To Kill a Mockingbird* by Harper Lee. Its profound exploration of morality, justice, and human empathy resonates deeply with me. The way it addresses complex social issues through the eyes of a child is both heart-wrenching and inspiring, and it continually influences my own approach to storytelling.
When you’re not writing, how do you like to spend your time?
When I’m not writing, I love to immerse myself in nature, whether that’s tending to my garden or simply soaking up the sun. I also enjoy sketching and capturing the world around me in my art. These activities help me recharge and find inspiration for my writing.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first story that made a lasting impression on me was Shakespeare’s *Hamlet*. The complexity of the characters and the depth of the themes—such as revenge, madness, and existential angst—captivated me. Shakespeare’s ability to blend intricate plots with profound emotional and philosophical questions influenced my own approach to storytelling, inspiring me to explore similar depths in my writing.
What has inspired you and your writing style?
My writing style has been profoundly shaped by a blend of personal experiences and literary influences. The emotional depth and complexity of classic literature, such as the works of Shakespeare, have inspired me to explore intricate human emotions and struggles in my own writing. Additionally, my personal journey through trauma and healing has driven me to create authentic and impactful narratives. The fusion of these experiences and inspirations guides my approach to storytelling, aiming to resonate deeply with readers and provide a sense of connection and understanding.
What are you working on now?
Currently, I’m deeply immersed in continuing Luna’s Saga, the next chapter of Luna’s journey that promises to explore new dimensions of her struggle and resilience. Alongside this, I’m developing a poetry collection that captures the raw emotions and reflections inspired by my personal experiences and artistic expressions. This combination of narrative and verse is an exciting way for me to continue engaging with themes of healing and self-discovery.
What is your favorite method for promoting your work?
My favorite method for promoting my work involves a combination of engaging with my readers on social media and leveraging book reviews and interviews. Sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of my writing process and interacting with readers directly helps build a connection and generate interest. Additionally, collaborating with book bloggers and participating in interviews allows me to reach a broader audience and share the deeper messages behind my books. This multifaceted approach helps create a vibrant and supportive community around my work.
What’s next for you as a writer?
As a writer, I’m currently working on expanding *Luna’s Saga* with a new installment that will continue Luna’s journey, delving even deeper into her path to healing and self-discovery. Alongside this, I’m exploring the idea of compiling a poetry collection, inspired by the themes and emotions present in my fiction. These projects are driven by my desire to further connect with readers and provide them with more avenues for finding solace and understanding. I’m excited about the future and the new stories and creative works that are taking shape.
How well do you work under pressure?
I thrive under pressure. It’s when the stakes are high that I often find my most profound creativity and drive. The pressure to meet deadlines or tackle challenging aspects of my writing pushes me to dig deeper into my emotional reservoir and come up with authentic, compelling narratives. This intense focus helps me overcome obstacles and refine my work, ultimately leading to a more impactful and resonant story.
How do you decide what tone to use with a particular piece of writing?
Deciding on the tone for a piece of writing is a deeply intuitive process, influenced heavily by the emotions I wish to convey and the message I want to communicate. I start by immersing myself in the core feelings and themes of the story. For example, if a scene is meant to explore deep sadness or trauma, I’ll adopt a somber, reflective tone to mirror the emotional gravity. Conversely, if the narrative is about triumph or hope, I’ll use a more uplifting and hopeful tone.
The tone also evolves as the story unfolds. I often find that as I delve deeper into the narrative, the characters’ journeys and emotional growth guide me towards a tone that feels authentic to their experiences. This dynamic process ensures that the tone aligns with the story’s emotional trajectory and reinforces the overall message, making it resonate more profoundly with readers.
If you could share one thing with your fans, what would that be?
If I could share one thing with my fans, it would be the profound truth that they are not alone in their struggles. My books, especially Luna’s Saga, are born from my own battles and triumphs, and I hope they serve as a reminder that there is always hope and resilience, even in the darkest times. The journey of writing these stories has been as much about healing for me as it has been about connecting with others. I want my readers to know that through their own challenges, they too can find strength and healing, and that every struggle carries the potential for a brighter, more resilient future.
