Tell us about yourself.:
I have published 5 novels and 7 novellas and 32 short stories traditionally. Also, a screenplay I wrote was produced, released direct to DVD, and is currently available for streaming.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?:
In southwest Ohio north of Cincinnati in the city of Mason. It was a small farming town that was transitioning to a suburban bedroom community. What influenced my writing more than anything was my older brother passing down his science fiction books to me.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Early in the morning totally isolated while staring at a brick wall.
What authors have influenced you?

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Never stop writing. And keep trying to engage with small indie publishers.
What is the best advice you have ever been given?
Learn some digital marketing skills.
What are you reading now?
'Never Let Me Go', by Kazuo Ishiguro. Very depressing but masterfully written.
What’s your biggest weakness?
Marketing. I need to improve.
What is your favorite book of all time?
'Gravity's Rainbow', by Thomas Pynchon.
When you’re not writing, how do you like to spend your time?
Traveling by RV. Camping. Hiking. Riding my bicycle.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Not sure, but I am sure it was science fiction, most likely by Ray Bradbury. He wowed me, sucked me into science fiction for life.
What has inspired you and your writing style?
The science fiction I read as a child.
What are you working on now?
A science fiction novel, 'A.R. – After Rafferty'. Five people get trapped in the simulated world of a dead man.
What is your favorite method for promoting your work?
Reviews. I am always willing to read and review other authors in the hope they will read and review my work.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I have written 3 science fiction novels consecutively. I am ready to write some short stories.
How well do you work under pressure?
No problem.
How do you decide what tone to use with a particular piece of writing?
The biggest decision is how technical to be. Also, how to mix in character development with high tech.
If you could share one thing with your fans, what would that be?
The impossible of yesterday is old hat today. Never think anything is impossible. You will most likely be proven wrong.
