She started her career as a Special Education teacher, but due to familial circumstances, had to change her career path, and chose the travel industry when her four children were mere toddlers. Her curiosity about the world, its cultures, and how to share it with others drove her to pursue higher education, and she went on to earn the prestigious Certified Travel Counselor accreditation, which takes approximately 4 years to complete. Held back by working for employers, Anita began one of the first online travel agencies in the 1990s, which is now the most popular way to conduct travel business.
