Tell us about yourself.:
I am a retired psychoanalyst and creator of leadership development programs for women in the business world.

I have told a lifetime of stories, many of them created on the spot, for my four children and a generation of grandchildren.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?:
I grew up in White Plains, New York. I was the oldest of 4 children. My parents came to the United States as adults. I was the first person in my family to go to an American school. I have always read a lot, starting from early childhood. My imagination was sparked by the varied books I read such as Aesop's Fables and Grimm's Fairy Tales.
