Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I enjoy writing, and even when I am not writing a book, I am thinking of a story or upon an inspirational thought or title to use for a book. It has become a constant meditation. I am to keep a note book with me at all times in case inspiration to write comes. I have learned from experience that it can come at any time.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
My advice for new authors is to take some time and learn how to promote and share your writings with your core audience, There are all sorts of things we can do, so don't just write. Take some time to locate the audience you are writing to and for, and do what you need to to reach them. They are waiting on your book.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?
The greatest advice I may have given to others through the years was given to me personally by a Number One best-selling author who, along with his partner, has sold over five hundred million copies of their books (literally). I still share that with others to this day, and I quote, "Everyone has at least one good book in them."

What are you reading now?
I am currently reading a book for the University I attend on Spiritual Fathering.

What’s your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness as an author is knowing when to take a break from writing and rest my mind. A really good television series helps me to relax.

What is your favorite book of all time?
My overall favorite book is the Holy Bible. I have been reading it from my youth, the age of thirteen and still enjoy doing so today. It gives me peace. I also enjoyed, "The One Minute Millionaire, by Robert Allen and Mark Victor Hansen. It has two sides to it, a logical side for those who love nonfiction, and a fictional story side for those who love fiction. It really is a one of a kind book.

When you’re not writing, how do you like to spend your time?
When I am not writing, I am either speaking, or relaxing, usually with a few of my friends.

Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The one that stands out is The One Minute Millionaire by Robert Allen and Mark Victor Hansen. I read that book many years ago, and it still stands out to me as one of the best, revealing the awesome and incredible power of desperation and determination.

What has inspired you and your writing style?
When it comes to writing fiction, I actually wrote my first one just to see if I could write one. Imagine my surprise when people began giving it five stars and stating that they hope it becomes a movie. That really felt good. Their response was that they could not put it down. It is a suspense dealing with abuse and redemption.

My main writings are actually inspirational nonfiction books on prayer and the benefits of reading the Bible.

What are you working on now?
I am working on the third part of the "Genna Series," which some are asking for. I am hoping to have it completed by the end of the year.

What is your favorite method for promoting your work?
My favorite method of promoting my work is locating book sites like this where readers go for their next read. These sites have a built in audience, so they are a good place to share my books.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Currently, I am working on helping people get their books written and published. I have helped many people do this, and I want to show others how I write so they can get their books completed, and showing them the various ways they could go about becoming a published author.

How well do you work under pressure?
I work or write better under pressure, when I am facing a deadline. For some reason that works well for me.

How do you decide what tone to use with a particular piece of writing?
When it comes to writing fiction or nonfiction I aim to place myself in the readers position and look for what will help (nonfiction) or excite the reader and keep him or her reading. I want each book I write to leave a positive impact upon the reader. So I aim to see how they are feeling as they read, and what effect my words will have upon them.

If you could share one thing with your fans, what would that be?
It is my sincere desire that those who read my books enjoy them, that they help you to gain a better and clearer understanding of answers you may seek (nonfiction), and that my fiction books take you on a journey where you are held in suspense to the end, filled with awe and excitement, and left saying, "I sure hope this becomes a series so I can keep reading."
