Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed writing fiction, and have had many novels in the works always. I have written many technical manuals, and technical evaluations for my main career. Now that I am at retirement age, I am enjoying completing the novels I started. So far, I have published one completed novel, Angels' Eyes, and have published another novel, "Angels' Heart." My style for writing fiction is much different. You will enjoy how I intertwine several themes and bring them together in the ending.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Angels' Heart is my latest book. It was inspired by someone I met long ago.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes. Read my book, and you will see how uniquely I put a story together. I also make use of a couple apps on my phone. One is Google Keep. I use Keep to use voice entry to make a note of ideas I come up with. The other is Out Of Milk. Out Of Milk is a shopping list app, which also has To-Do lists. I add things as I think of them.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
1984. Also all the books by Samuel Clemens. Have you read "Christian Science" by Samuel Clemens? This book taught me how to use humor in a work of fiction. His book, "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" taught me that relationships could be an adventure as well.
What are you working on now?
Currently, I am working on completing "Angels' Heart."
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I have not decided on a favorite yet.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Keep writing and keep proofreading. Spend at least 2 hours a day writing. Don't worry if it doesn't seem to go as fast as you would wish. Put the quality in it and you will get inspired to write. Sometimes I may spend 2 days on researching to work on just one paragraph, but in the end it is well worth it.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Follow your heart.
What are you reading now?
Angels' Heart again.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I will be working on the Angels' series for quite a long time.
What is your favorite book of all time?
The gospel according to John. It is amazing how themes are intertwined, and there is much humor there as well.
