Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Hello. My name is Valerio K. Riley.
I have now written and published my very first book on Amazon. The book is called "From a problem child to another: and for our shepherd's". It is a story of my troubled youth and how I eventually conquered my obstacles. The book is meant to help as many people as possible.
I am now a 27 year old student from a northern country of Europe. I have always had an urge to write and I thought I should start with a bang and invite everyone to take a look into my experiences.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The book is called "From a problem child to another: and for our shepherd's". What inspired me to write it, was the realization, while selfreflecting, that I had climbed a vast mountain during my life, and I realized how hard it actually was.
So I collected all the things that made the climb possible, from my memory storage, and found out I had a lot to give for other people in need.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Umm, no I guess. I have been writing whenever I have had the time.
Maybe one little unusuality is that I haven't told anyone close to me yet about my book 😊
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I like to read fiction and non-fiction equally. Sometimes I love just reading fantasy books and sometimes I enjoy reading something like a true war stories.
What are you working on now?
Right now I'm working on promoting my recent book before I start planning for the next one.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I think diversety is the best way to go. Just try to spread the word around as much as possible.
Also creativity in your marketing strategy is always a good idea.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Well, I am a new author myself, but if I was to say something based on my experience would be: be patient and persistent, while writing and promoting.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Keep your goals in your field of view every day!
What are you reading now?
Right now I'm reading a book by Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Promote my first work for a while then start forming a plan and synopsis for my next one.
What is your favorite book of all time?
I know it's a cliché, but the Lord of the rings 😁
