Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I'm a clinical psychologist and my books range from fiction to nonfiction. I wrote about the grand adventure of the community mental health program and its dramatic failure, how to survive divorce and remarriage, how to use Carl Jung's personality typology to create characters and plots. The fiction is reflected in my Gaia's Majesty Trilogy currently in process.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is Gaia's Majesty-Mission Called: Women in Power. It is inspired by my love of mythology which I believe gives depth to our lives but also speaks great truths. The other major inspiration is that I believe we may be on the verge of major changes and that the empowerment of women will be central. These elements are blended in the Gaia's Majesty Trilogy
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Nothing bizarre. I find music energizing and listen to a blend of jazz and techno dance among other things.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I find it hard to identify any clear sources. It depends upon who we are and the period of our lives.
What are you working on now?
I'm concentrating on the trilogy and the possibility emerging of a fourth book going to another level.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I can't say I believe in a best method. Given the scope and complexity of the world of books currently, it is essential to have breadth of approach.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Hang in there. It is essential in this climate to be tenacious and to endure. There is no easy or fast route.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
It is that there is no single best advice.
What are you reading now?
I'm concentrating on tyranny and large scope emerging themes.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Finishing the trilogy and maybe book 4. Also my characters have come to live with me and I may do a book for each of them.
What is your favorite book of all time?
As with advice, I don't believe in one best of anything.
