Melanie Simms is an award-winning poet with over two hundred publications of poetry, and short stories to her credit. Her publications include The Pittsburgh Post Gazette, The Galway Review (Ireland), the Taj Mahal Review (India), Blood and Thunder Journal (University of Oklahoma), CLAM (UC Berkeley) and The Adelaide Literary Journal.
Melanie served as a poet laureate for Perry County, PA, and her awards include a Richard Savage Award (finalist, Bloomsburg University), a Vermont Writers Studio Scholarship, and a Sophie Award from The Perry County Council of the Arts. Her short story, Life Signs and Fortune Cookies was a finalist in the Adelaide Literary Competition, 2018.
