Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a mother of young adult children. In my younger years I swam competitively and reached the national titles. I have been campaigning against domestic violence and the abuse of children in the Family Court of Australia.
I have written a book about my late father's ordeal during world war 2 and the illegal adoption of my father's younger brother. I mainly write sci fi and authored the Benderson Cozy Mysteries which are available on amazon
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The latest book I am writing is The Bendersons: Dim 13.5. It is a mysterious title and my flat manager gave me the inspiration to write it.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I can't get by without my chocolate and coffee. I know it is a bad habit but I need my coffee.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Rosemary Sutcliffe, Laura Ingalls Wilder and Tolkein . I grew up with Laura Ingalls Wilder and watched Little House on the Prarie as a young child.
What are you working on now?
As I stated previously. I have written over twenty novels in the Benderson Cozy Mysteries. I aimed for 3 novels but have written in excess of them. I am also planning another series featuring JJ as the main character. JJ or Josephine Jay Jager is the youngest daughter of Tam in the Benderson series.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I haven't found a website that is good for promoting my books. I have to admit I haven't had much success despite putting my best food forward. It has been a disheartening journey to say the least.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
I would advise against writing a book. It is really just not worth the effort. Sorry to be a damper, but it is unprofitable and too competitive. Unless you have truckloads of money to spend on promotion……….don't waste your time.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Try and Try again. My husband is very persistent whereas I give up. I know it is the wrong approach but I often take the easy way out.

I have planned it a certain way but as usual it ends up completely different. That is fine and the hallmarks of being a writer
