Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
In theory, several, in reality I have completed and published just this one book so far. Now that I have the clear 21 day process of this book, that is quickly changing.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Work Pray Allow was inspired by my decision that I was going to start completing unfinished goals. For decades I knew I would write books, but never could get myself to follow-through. I worked hard to learn the tools that enable a person to identify and complete a huge undertaking in just 21 days. And now that I have the secret recipe, I understand and BELIEVE that there is nothing I cannot do.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Sprint. Write furiously for days, let it come through. It is the most invigorating thing I can do. And in a short time, it is done and ready for the world.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Jennifer Scott, Gabby Bernstein, Ed Rush, Elizabeth Gilbert
What are you working on now?
A cookbook–a very special cookbook.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Kindlepreneur is an amazing resource for authors, and I love that for promoting a piece, AwesomeGang is very author-friendly.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Buy this book. I know, that's so narcissistic of me, but I am so tired of writing books that lead authors to believe their process must look one way or another. There is something so organic about allowing the book to unfold when you work rapidly through a process like Work Pray Allow.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
View your goals as impossible. It's a thing Brooke Castillo does, and it's earth shattering.
What are you reading now?
Honestly, Work Pray Allow. I'm in a 21-day process currently, and it is what keeps me on track. Though I also just plowed through Sonia Chouquette's Waking Up in Paris. It's a wonderful book!
What’s next for you as a writer?
I would rather show you than tell you. Stay tuned!
What is your favorite book of all time?
Gosh I think this changes almost daily dependent upon what my current focus is. Currently, I adore Jennifer Scott's Madame Chic books.
