Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a mother, teacher, and ghostwriter who has been writing since the age of four. I was first published at the age of 13 and always thought I would be a writer. I didn't know it would be in a self-published capacity running my own marketing, but I have learned that this gives me more freedom. I have two books out and will have a total of five by the end of the year.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is the first in a paranormal romance series known as Brothers of Fang. Paranormal romance has always been a specialty of mine and a favorite to read. The idea of a forbidden love came to me as well as a world of magic and shifters.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
None other than that my planning is minimal and so is my editing. Other than typos, my first draft is my final draft. I have always written this way.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Cassandra Claire, Addison Moore, JK Rowling, Holly Black, and Alyson Noel.
What are you working on now?
I will have the second Brothers of Fang book out at the end of July and another two contemporary romances will follow.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Facebook is the most effective, hands down.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write what you love.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Just keep writing.
What are you reading now?
I am actually attempting to take on the Shannara series.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I really just want to make this a career. I have many more books planned and ready to go.
What is your favorite book of all time?
I really can't choose, but the Celestra series is a favorite.
