Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Author, Howard Gleichenhaus was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and grew up in the Bronx, New York City and Spring Valley, New York. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Southern Connecticut State College, a Master Degree in Biology and a second Master’s Degree in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey.
He spent a few years doing neurochemical research at the Nathan Kline Institute in Orangeburg NY and polymer chemistry research at Reichhold Chemicals in Sterling Forest, New York, before settling in to a 35-year teaching career in the Clarkstown Central School District in New City, New York.
Howard now lives in Delray Beach Florida with his wife, Fredda. They have been marred for 44 years.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Sinai Artifact is the second novel in my Ted Lansing, FBI series. The first, The Subterfuge Conspiracy was published in 2016.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Interesting fact: Half-way through the writing of Sinai Artifact I wrote myself into a corner and had to rewrite from scratch. My latest novel (in progress) has an outline.

Clancy, Grisham, King and Patterson
What are you working on now?
A new novel that spans the life of my protagonist, Nolan Price, from when he was a teenager to a career in the NYPD as a Detective First Grade who returns home after twenty years to solve the murder of his best friend.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I have readers write reviews and I have Social Media
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Be careful out there for scammers. They are bottom feeders who rely on new authors eagerness to get published. Get into a good (professional) critiquing group and listen to what they say.

Don't quit!

What’s next for you as a writer?
I just keep writing but have branched out as a diversion to penning short stories.
