Elaine Gavigan is the pen name for the author of The Shelton Mill. She graduated with High Honors in History from Bates College and earned an MBA in Marketing at Boston College. She is a veteran of many years working at both a community newspaper and at a major internet recruitment website. Her writing has previously been published on Rue Scribe/ Underwood Press and has won an award on Wow! Women on Writing. One of her greatest literary ambitions is to be a top Amazon book reviewer (she is only at #154,013, but she enjoys a challenge). Elaine is an active member of the Grub Street writing community and lives outside Boston, MA.
