“When impassioned paleontologist Secora James is summoned to South America to confirm or dispel rumors of a creature long-thought extinct, she lands herself in more trouble than she had ever imagined”…
Much like the ‘Indiana Jones Saga,’ Rising Wind is packed with action and suspense while the author has a clever way of intertwining religion with each rare find the characters make. Readers will appreciate how Ms. Olsen always characterizes the religious elements in her stories in a positive light, as the hope of mankind rather than how most works of fiction portray religion negatively as mankind’s biggest problem.
A fun book to read filled with colorful characters and lots of action for those reader fans of character-driven adventure who like to learn about science, ancient civilizations, and world religions along the way. A multicultural treasure is the “Rising Wind” book series!
