In the Falcon’s Safety is a novel set in eighteenth-century Scotland, that tells the story of Alex Boswell and Anna Duncan, whose paths are forever bound to cross. It chronicles their journey and plights throughout this lifetime as they face challenges and conflicts that will try to break them apart.
Due to her love of animals, it is no surprise that Anna befriends a falcon while visiting her brother in the Scottish Highlands. But never being attracted to any one man, she cannot explain the feeling that comes over her after seeing Alex from a distance. If it is not enough to feel unexplainably connected to someone in the distance, her brother introduces Alex as his best friend.
To complicate her visit more, Anna is caught in the middle of the ruthless Gregory MacDonald’s quest to obtain a jewel of mystical powers which she found as a child.
Anna has no way of knowing how her life is intertwined with Alex’s, and how her fascination with a falcon would be her stronghold.
In the Falcon’s Safety is a novel that weaves a tale of love, family, destiny, and magic. It’s a journey of hearts losing the other and finding their way back to each other. Throughout mysteries and pursuits, witness a romance that is already written in the stars!

Author Bio:
From the time I was a child, I was fascinated with anything “old-fashion”. I loved watching Little House on the Prairie and Daniel Boone. As an adult, I enjoy Victorian tea houses and have even been known to host several afternoon tea parties. When I see a scene in a picture in an era from Medieval times to the Roaring Twenties, I can picture myself there, no matter if it is a busy street or a house in the woods.
I draw inspiration from nature, and it is not uncommon for me to write in the quiet of the woods while camping or along the side of the lake in my kayak.
I love to listen to bagpipes and Celtic music. When I read, I always choose historical fiction in a Scottish setting, so it is no wonder that my first book takes place in Scotland in the 1700s.
I live in the suburbs of Pittsburgh with my husband and my youngest two of four children. I am blessed with three beautiful grandkids.
