I earned my B.A. in English literature from the University of Victoria, with training in journalism. I have worked as a sports editor and senior reporter and labored in many other jobs, from fish-boat deckhand to home improvements salesman, from bartender to taxi driver. Since 1995, I have been the pastor of City Gate Church in Duncan, BC. I enjoy playing Snooker and Eight-ball. My wife Jane and I have three adult children. I have six novels in print and one memoir.
