This is the follow up book to my first book It Feels Good to Feel Good Learn to Eliminate Toxins Reduce Inflammation and Feel Great Again, which is about how I returned to a pain free life after getting autoimmune disease by eliminating hundreds of toxins in my life and lowering my toxic load. That book has won 14 awards.
But I do not live an isolated life. I live in community, feel great and do not want to go back to pain. So, I share all my tips on how I go to restaurants, other people’s homes for dinner, how we travel and how I cook and eat the rainbow. I include how I shop for healthy food on a budget, and where I shop for food and why. There is a section on healthy self-care that includes forest bathing. (yes that’s a thing *smile*) I also include how to raise healthy children in the 21st Century, and how to create a low toxin environment for your beloved pets. There is also a chapter on how I do bug control without “cides”. There is also a great chapter on Stress and all the 2-3-minute exercises I use intermittently through the day to take the steam off my stress before it becomes chronic.
I am very social, and refuse to eat the standard American diet, so tips from this book will allow you to continue your low toxin life.
