Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
My name is Colin Guest a freelance writer who lives in Istanbul. I have written six books. These include a memoir re my working as an expat in fifteen countries, a couple of fiction books and an erotic filled novel. Apart from my books I have had articles published in various online magazines, with one published in a UK expat magazine. In conjunction with Voyage media, I wrote a pilot episode for what they think could be suitable for a television series. I also write poetry with several doing well in contests. One being made into a film. A newspaper in my hometown in England, UK, published an article re my writing. I took part in a live American radio show and did a one-hour podcast re my writing. I have also taken part in a number of online interviews, with my latest, a radio interview with Lisa Burton, a gorgeous robotic interviewer.
I am keen on environmental and wildlife issues and worked as a volunteer at wildlife rescue/rehabilitation centers in South Africa and Thailand. For those interested in wildlife, I highly recommend you try it. My pen name of Tigerman, comes from my love of tigers, with my adopting one for the past twelve years.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is a short fiction story entitled Impending Disaster.
The idea of writing just came to mind one day. I guess in part from reading about the cutbacks to the Parks Department in America
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write sitting on the sofa in our television room, as I find it more comfortable than in my study.

Tom Clancy, Clive Cussler, Lee Child and several thers
What are you working on now?
An action book re a terrorist plot and another romantic story.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I use Facebook mainly
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Once you start writing never give up.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
No matter how good you think your work is, always have it professionally edited before thinking of publishing it.
