Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Well I am 24 years old as of January 13th. I was born 1993 and have two siblings all of whom have homes in Georgia. I am the Publishing Director and founder of Guyton-Moore Strategic Services LLC's Publishing Division. I have Authored the Majority of our current books totaling 10 and co-authored 2 others.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book was "Make a Great First Impression at Almost Any Occasion: The Art of a Good Interview," which is actually the second volume of my "Your First Impressions" series. The book was inspired by my mother who has served on several hiring pannels for several companies. Having always had a nack for putting my best foot forward in high stress situation I thought it would be best to help others get the job of thier dreams
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I don't think so… but I do write best when I am suppose to be doing something else. For example, when I was in class at school I always got the best writing done when during the teachers leactures. Of course it always panned out since they thought I was taking notes.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
When I come to fiction the writing a lot of influence comes from manga (a Japanese comic / graphic novels). Some of these individuals include Shinobu Ohtaka, Yuu Kamiya, Yoshiyuki Tomino and Akira Toriyama. Other authors that have greatly influenced my fiction writing are Lois Lowry, J. K. Rowling, and Daniel Handler (Lemony Snicket)
What are you working on now?
Right now, I am working on several projects actually. A am the illustrator for an upcoming children’s. I am also working on a two fiction short stories and a novel. In the non-fiction category am continuing the “Your First Impression” series with volume 4. Other than that I am writing a book that is current nameless about how to go about writing a novel which will be out in a few weeks.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I have a list of websites I try to promote to. Facebook groups and other social media are a big part of marketing for the company.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Pace yourself. Don't burn yourself out trying to meet unreasonable quotas. Also, don’t stop writing. One of the biggest killers of writers is they only try once or twice then give up.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
It is not all about the money, life is an adventure so enjoy it. That is why I tell people I am a “Life Enthusiast”
What are you reading now?
I am reading research material at the moment nothing exciting. As an online teacher I have to stay up to date on subjects. So right now I am reading the Title 14 CFR or Code of Federal Regulations a law book.
What’s next for you as a writer?
As a writer, I want to become a full time author and publisher. My goal is to be able to get more people into the writing market and help them create even better works than me.
What is your favorite book of all time?
First is the bible always. Second would be the "Series of Unfortunate Events" which is what got me interested in writing in the first place.
