The sunny California beaches and peaceful shores tend to starkly contrast Camille's darker writing style. However, she set her first suspense novel within Los Angeles as a small nod to her upbringing.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Absolutely! Camille loves to write out her first drafts by hand. Each of her purses contains a notebook, just in case a new idea strikes when she's outside of the house.

When taking a break, Camille can often be found at the nearest beach or coffee shop. She adores people watching and trying to place lively personalities into her next novels.
What has inspired you and your writing style?
Camille finds that her insatiable appetite for reading molded her writing style. She often shifts her style to better fit within each mystery sub-genre. She doesn't believe in a singular style when it comes to writing for different genres.

Camille's favorite method of promoting a book is definitely a book tour! She adores interacting with readers and sharing her favorite parts of a project.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Camille has a new book that's set for release in September. It's titled Chronometer and circles around the idea of daylight saving time.
How well do you work under pressure?
Camille often tries to be prompt when it comes to deadlines. However, she oddly finds that her most creative work occurs when she's under a tight deadline.
