Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I've written a few books yet currently only one of them is published the rest I am keeping in the fridge until I'm ready to serve them.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
DeeDee and the Maezo of the Woods is my current novel. It really came from a particular question I asked myself. "What makes a good fantasy?" I answered myself with because fantasy story take our inner fantasies and bring them to life. Then I asked "Well why not write a story about the ultimate fantasy? bringing loved ones back from the dead." The rest as they say, is history.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
None that I don't think every other writer has. I guess one that I think might be unique is that sometimes I physically play out the story I'm writing before writing it in order to get a feel how it should go.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Oh they are so many. But for DeeDee and the Maezo of the Woods in particular I took a bit from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, a little bit of the humor in Neil Gaiman's The graveyard book, and a little bit of the imagination of Ransom Rigg's works.
What are you working on now?
I'm working on a few projects at the current moment. I'm planning on some comedy. I'm writing a biography. I'm writing some fantasy. I even toying with an idea for a screenplay.
