I am a crafting romance writer. I know it sounds strange but, here is my background…
I started knitting after a surgery, my husband taught me to knit, his mother is a knitter, huge yarn stash and all. I threw it down for a while and one day picked it back up, the rest is history. I paint yarns, and fibers, crochet, spin, weave, embroider, sew, and quilt occasionally. I knit for charity, when I have the time.
I took up writing when I couldn’t find a book I wanted to read, they were all starting to bore me and even though, they were different authors, I was finding myself realizing it was all running together. I want to make a difference, I want something different to read. I hope my readers will as well.
I have created the birthday sock, this is a sock where a family member gets to pick their colors, they get three colors for their yarn, I paint it, then they get to tell me if they like lace, if they don’t, too bad, they are still getting lace if they are a girl, if it is a guy, just a plain sock or some embellishment on the leg, nothing else.
I am from a huge family…I am the youngest of 8. My dad was the youngest of 12. My mom was the youngest of 2. I am married to a wonderful husband, of 16 years. We have 5 fur babies; 3 lady cats, and 2 boy dogs. No two legged kids here unless you count the occasional niece or nephew running around our home.
There is humor in all things….
