Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I only started to write ebooks recently when I was sent a word template already formatted for Amazon. I thought that I might as well make use of it.
I soon found myself filling up chapters after chapters all on the same subject matter, energy fields such as auras, chakras, mindfulness and so on. After reflecting on this experience, I decided to break the subject into 6 books, each narrating a section or segment of energy fields. At this moment, Janaury 2016, I find myself with 7 ebook drafts and 3 completed volumes.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The book that is being promoted at the moment is titled: Knowledge: AWAKEN YOUR KNOWLEDGE: Awaken The Secret Powers Hidden In You (Series VI Book 6) Kindle Edition
While I was writing about my own experience in energy fields, I realised that, perhaps, readers would not only want to know the “how to” of the experience but the actual science foundation behind it. So, knowledge cam up as a separate book.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I like to use a dictating machine and speech recognition software to ease the task of free flowing writing. Nothing unusual, just a writing habit that I got used to.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I don’t get influenced as my readings are mainly scientific research and other boring material essential to my end goals of self improvement and personal development.
What are you working on now?
NLP and Tapping EFT. I try to make the link between the energy fields uneen to human and the physical aspects that come with these.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I like to start with a list of FB groups and your site, mybookplace.net. Then I progress into search and research on a deeper foundation by using google. I probably use the same methodology as everyone else. I promote on FB groups. I use fiverr.com for their human resources. I wish I knew a bit more about promotion of books. I guess I need to spend more time on studying the subject.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
A new author is not new for long. Just starting the foundation leads to the building block of an empire. As time goes by, you will remember your first book as if it was long gone, while counting how many books you have now behind you.
Start, and start now.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Stop procrastinating. Not that I do, but it is an excellent advice to anyone. It is an easy thing to do when we have the knowledge. It is an essential step when we don’t have the knowledge. And it is merely a step backward whenever we decide not to go forward. So, basically the best advice I have ever heard is the one I give 🙂
What are you reading now?
I’m reading my own script, editing, proofreading, correcting, changing and so on, and so forth, ad infinitum.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Put the pen down and raise the speech recognition software to its mighty place, the shelf.
What is your favorite book of all time?
