Follow a journey of an woman determined to beat the odds. A mother of four under eight,battling Lyme Disease. See her struggle, fight and will to succeed as she pours her heart into being a mom, writing books and blogging. To inspire, educate and motivate women and mothers with her vision for change.As she uses her life experiences, psychology education and heart of a warrior, To make a difference amongst our women of today’s generation. In a time where we need much inspiration and positivity. With two books written and published to date, she is working on her third book Raising Autism. Dedicated to her nine year old autistic daughter.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Love Yourself First: Woman First Mother Second. Inspired by my struggles with raising myself and my three siblings. Beating the odds, only to battle chronic lyme, homelessness and turmoil. As I share my parenting tips and experiences with raising four children under eight. With wisdom beyond my years. I inspire, educate and motivate my fellow women and mothers in a much needed time of change.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not really. I do love peace and quiet when I write. Even a cup of red wine and a little music sometimes is nice.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Maya Angelo, an all around phenomenal women who has made many great books for the empowermen of women. All her accomplishments despite her struggles and pains. It’s relatable to many women and inspiring to all.
What are you working on now?
Raising Autism, a book dedicated to my nine year old daughter who was diagnosed at 2. It was created to provide education, inspiration and hope to those living with autism. To provide support and education for parents, caregivers and teachers who love and/or work with autistic children. Raising a special needs child can be emotionally, financially and physically draining. But with the right knowledge, support and faith; Raising an a autistic child, will not feel like a death sentence. More like a different way of living life, an interesting one at that. Learning to adapt and cope is key.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Never stop writing and learn everything you need to know about being an author. Writing is only one side. Learn about promotions and book marketing. Knowledge is power.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
That knowledge was power and that education was the key to success. So to date, I’m in my senior year of college in a bachelor’s of science in psychology and life coaching. As well as being a freelance researcher for Lyme and autism spectrum disorders.

What’s next for you as a writer?
I am working on a book signing for my book Raising Autism in April 2016. As well as a women’s workshop entitled I am Woman; with two phenomenal high school friends in Summer 2016.
What is your favorite book of all time?
Phenomenal Women by Maya Angelou. It just spoke to me in so many ways. I’ve been through so much, yet I feel blessed to share my gift of writing with the world. She knew her purpose and fulfilled her life goals. I admire that on a writer and activist.
