Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have a B.A. in Bible from Columbia International University and Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. I spent nearly thirty years teaching Bible and theology, preaching, and doing research for my books. I now devote most of my time consolidating academic and practical gains by writing Christian books. I am the author of twelve Christian books.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Ultimate Authority for the Soul. I write books to meet the needs of Bible students, pastors, and Christian laymen.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write based on years of research on the subject matter. Although I write in a traditional manner, I offer plenty of contemporary application.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Authors that have played a part in my writing are pre-socratic philosophers like Parmenides and many others until this century like R. C. Sproul. My favorite author is Jonathan Edwards. My favorite book is, Freedom of the Will, by Jonathan Edwards.
What are you working on now?
I just finished a manuscript titles, Learn to Pray: Biblical Doctrine of Prayer.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Learn to write, re-write and re-write.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
For my genre, my mentor said, “wait until have enough knowledge and wisdom so you don’t have to take anything back.”
