Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Did you ever wonder how you would survive a global nuclear apocalypse? I imagined it into existence on the written page!
I am the author of The Survivor Diaries Series of novels and The Oxymoron of Still Life, a Short Story Anthology on Life, Dying, and Death. I was inspired by the characters in my hometown of Monterey, California. I was both fascinated and saddened to turn my beloved city into a torn and broken place that my characters must learn to navigate and pilfer in order to survive. I am also an independent filmmaker and scriptwriter. My dream is to produce the Great American Documentary.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is part of my series, and it is called Frozen Webs. I tasked myself to really leave my comfort zone on this one!
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write in only the light of my computer screen. I believe it’s a throw-back to learning video editing, which is often done in dimly lit editing bays. It helps me not to worry about the big pile of laundry or the unmade bed, too.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
My three must read books are: Cannery Row, by John Steinbeck, The Handmaid’s Tale, by Margaret Atwood, and The Lorax, by Dr. Seuss.
What are you working on now?
I am just about to begin Wanderers on the Winds, Book V of the Survivor Diaries Series.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
My favorite is social media. Here are my digital footprints:

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write until your finger tips bleed.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“The role of a writer is not to say what we all can say, but what we are unable to say.” ~Anais Nin
What are you reading now?
I am in the middle of the Outlander Series, Book V.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I will continue to chip away at writing, and coming up with new stories for my faithful readers.
What is your favorite book of all time?
I really can’t tell you my favorite book of all times because it changes as I age. It used to be Room With A View. I love Cannery Row and East of Eden, too.
