Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a veteran children’s reading specialist, teacher and author. I have written six books to date. I live in the Cayman Islands with my husband. At this time I still work as an active Reading Specialist for a private school. I am a passionate reader and love to do book reviews.
I am passionate for the Paranormal. I love to watch videos on Youtube about haunted places and ghost hunting.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is Beloved Sacrifice. It was inspired by a legend told by my grandmother that does have a bit of truth to it. I traveled to the medieval village of Pacentro, Italy two years ago to get inspiration for this novel and so many more spiritual and supernatural occurences happened while I was there. I knew I had to tell this story.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Well, I wouldn’t say they are too unusual. I have to be listening to music while writing. It must match the mood of the story,or piece.
I do take breaks to get up and turn the music up and bust a few moves.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I love Tolkien,V.C.Andrews, Mitch Albom and Amanda Hocking.
What are you working on now?
At the current time I am writing a Book called, ‘A Rock Star Reader by Kindergarten’. Lots of great at home games and tips will be included in the book.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I have had much success with many of the Facebook groups that allow promo for authors along with Ble Owl Publishing , Reader’s Gazzette and Booktastik.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
I would probably tell new authors to not spread themselves too thin. At first I wanted to be on every site and group on the planet. You quickly burn out fast trying to keep up with all of them. Find a few sites or groups that you like and stick with those.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Keep on writing. Most likely one of your books will hit.”
What are you reading now?

What’s next for you as a writer?
My next endeavor will most likely be to write some short Paranormal stories for magazines. This is one area I haven’t tapped into yet.

My favorite book of all time is, Wuthering Heights. It is so hauntingly romantic!
