Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a passionate person who started out life as a poet. After publishing a few poems in my early 20’s I spent time traveling to d working in different countries. I was born in South Africa and this fostered my love for animals. I have written three short stories in the form a trilogy :Marla. I plan to make my next novel full length.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
I find the characters choose their own names. In this instance I found that the trilogy could be named after the main female character. I also wanted to show domestic discipline in a more normalised manner.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
None that I can think of-unless one counts having to write in between work and having to look after two demanding cats, which generally results in me having to type with one hand whilst stroking the loudest cat with my other.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Authors in the same genre.
JRR Tolkien: because she wrote a massive book that inspires people even though he has left this world.
What are you working on now?
I am working on a lesbian romance novel that is close to my heart as it is set in South Africa.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I advertise on sites such as this one and I take full use of Kindle Select promotions.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
If you have an idea, write it down immediatly, so as not to lose the impetus of creativity.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
The motto I live by; Life is not a rehearsal…

What’s next for you as a writer?
To continue to try and meet the niches of the lesbian domestic discipline and romance genre.

JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings.
