Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
My name is John Faherty. I am an artist and writer living in Philadelphia. I am a 1991 graduate of of Temple University Tyler School of Art. I have completed three novels all in the Science Fiction Genre. The current book that I am working on is about half way completed. I also write a monthly blog entitled “Things that aren’t there”that is kind off beat but interesting.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Idea behind “A Paradox in Retrograde” was inspired by the epic story telling style of ancient mythology. I wanted to combine this style with the logic of Sci- Fi. The story is the hero/anti- hero progression of two main characters . One is a sociopath with amnesia One in a reluctant leader both discovers his nature and responsibilities in doing so.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write as it comes, outline, rough draft, Edit Edit Edit…..

Philip K. Dick, Alice”Andre” Norton, Peter Hamilton, H. Beam Piper, Allister Reynolds, Robert Heinlein
What are you working on now?
I’m revisiting the characters from a previous book and putting them through a new set of circumstances. No title yet however.
