Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have written two, the first is Taking Back Your Health which was an Amazon #1 best seller and my newest book is called The Strategic Grocery Shopping Guide.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Strategic Grocery Shopping Guide came from the confusion I’ve seen about where and how to shop for food. People are becoming more aware of what they need to eat but they are not sure where to get it and how much they should be paying for it.
I put this short guide together as quick introduction into where to find the best food, how to navigate grocery stores more effectively and save some money while doing it.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write upside down.
Actually I don’t but I have to have Jazz music playing, actually one specific album by Oscar Peterson and I have to get up and move every 15 minutes even If I’m on a roll. Motion creates emotion.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Weston A Price and his book Physical Degeneration
Nora Gedgaudas and Primal Body, Primal Mind
These books are about ancestral living and diets that we need to follow today.
Also Goodnight Moon..
What are you working on now?
I’ve just put both of these out very recently so just working on promoting them and now getting some sun after not seeing it for months..
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I like to do guest posting on other sites and more importantly now, being a guest on other peoples podcasts to promote what I’m doing.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Just get started. Don’t try and finish the book in a week but make it a point to do a little bit each day.
Once you get the ball rolling momentum will come from that.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
That it’s all about progress and not perfection.
What are you reading now?
I’m reading a biography on Elon Musk and a nutrition book called Brain Maker by Dr. David Perlmutter
And still trying to get through Goodnight Moon..
What’s next for you as a writer?
I want to write a big expose into the world of supermarkets and retail and go deeper into the psychology that makes us spend and desire things more.
What is your favorite book of all time?
And The Great Gatsby
