Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a psychologist and happiness expert. I just published my first book last month and am so proud and excited!
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
21 Days to Happiness: Increase your Happiness, Energy and Productivity. I created a practical guide with tips that take about 10 minutes a day. I want to help everybody to be happier and more successful. I present different tips for relationships, managing your time, getting healthier and feeling great!
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I have to escape to write. I was inspired by the movie Love Actually, where the author goes to a lake house in Portuagal to write his book. I went to a beach condo in Florida!
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I enjoy so many authors and books of all styles and subjects. I am most inspiered by people who share strategies to improve. For example, Tony Robbins Awaken the Giant Within, Tony Schwartz The Way We're Working Isn't Working and so many more.
What are you working on now?
I am a speaker and trainer and love sharing my tips with people and inspiring them. I also want to develop a series of short video trainings for more happiness.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I believe it is important to get good reviews on Amazon and GoodReads. Tell everyone about your book and use social media. If you are passionate about your book, you should share, share and share!
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Make a plan and get a buddy or a coach to help you move things along.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Don't try to make it perfect, just get your ideas on paper and then you can make it better.
What are you reading now?
101 Self-Coaching by Brooke Castillo.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I will make a workbook to accompany my book.
What is your favorite book of all time?
I named 2 of my favorite books in a previous question: Awaken the Giant Within and The Way We're Working Isn't Working…on a much lighter note, I loved the whole Shopaholic series!
