Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I was born in Hungary, just after the Second World War had drawn to a close. I lived through the Hungarian uprising against the Communists in 1956, and remember vividly Russian tanks under our bedroom window. Through the genius of my mother Georgina.My family managed to leave the Communist block and come to Australia in 1957. I am an experienced public speaker, fashion designer and cook Through out my life I have been inspired by my mother's amazing tenacity on outsmarting the Nazis and Communists and winning!. Her zest for life motivated me to write Georgina Holocaust stories then continued to write : Bobelee and Boboya, A children’s book. Then Fierce Courage : an inspirational book based on a true life story of a young man during and after the second world war
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is “Fierce Courage’ It is inspired by my late husband who always wanted to write it.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Could be walking around working out in my head the next action or dreaming it up at night.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
The Alchemis by Paulo Coelho , Hungarian poetry, and Goethe’s poem that starts with: Until one is committed, there is hesitancy…. I have it framed on my wall constantly in front of me.
What are you working on now?
I have several ideas right now.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I find interviews are great.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
My very best advice is to just write and read Goethe’s poem use it like a bible and do not let anything daunt you.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Just write and correct it later or “ bum glue” sit and write.
What are you reading now?
I like reading works by fellow indie authors eg: Gabriel Farago ; The empress holds the key .
What’s next for you as a writer?
My goalis to have “Georgina Holocaust Survival Stories” as a movie
