Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Eva Lefoy writes and reads all kinds of romance, and is a die-hard Trekkie. She’s also terribly addicted to chocolate, tea, and hiking. One of these days, she’ll figure out the meaning of life, quit her job, and go travel the galaxy. Until then, she’s writing down all her dirty thoughts for the sake of future explorers. She has 42 book credits to her name.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Sexy to Go Spanks was a themed boxed set we did with Sexy to Go authors. We were glad to include some new faces in that one and are currently working on Sexy to Go Halloween 2, where we will also feature some new authors.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write on my couch, with the cat next to me. Usually he's snoring. It's quite distracting!
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I read a wide variety of authors and genres from hard science fiction to erotica. I also love a good steamy historical! Jane Austen I think has been the biggest influence in romance writing and also Barbara Cartland. I can't tell you how many of her books I read as a teen but it was an awful lot of them! Now, they seem dated but they were very influential in heralding the new era of romance writers today such as Nora Roberts. Just think how hard it would be for her to have succeeded without the others paving the way!
What are you working on now?
Sexy to Go Halloween 2.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
i wish I knew!
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Yes, write what excites you, what you like to read.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
In regards to writing? Well, if there's a gun in chapter one, it had better go off before the end of the story! Or else!
What are you reading now?
I just finished the Sons of Navarus book 1 by K.M. Scott and Gabrielle Bisset.
What’s next for you as a writer?
This varies from day to day. Some days I'd say non-fiction will be my next big thing other days, it's horrotica.
What is your favorite book of all time?
I wish I could answer that! One of my favorites is Don't Look Back by Josh Lanyon. It's a steamy M/M mystery!
