Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I love cats, photography, makeup, and various kinds of music. I read a lot which has inspired me to write my own books. I'll pretty much read anything so I don't have a particular genre that I enjoy. I currently have a short story and one romance novel out. I'm working on my second one. I'm also a full-time student and have trouble finding time to write, but I try my best to get it done.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Lovely Gaden is my first book, and I'm not really sure what inspired it. I just wanted to write a romance novel with a male character that wasn't alpha. I had just read quite a few books with alpha male leads and I was sick of them for a bit. Still love my alpha males, but I just wanted to write something different.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I like to write by hand, though a lot of what I wrote changes when I type it up. I just find it relaxing to write by hand.
My preferred place to write is on the floor.
I like to watch horror movies as I write, especially if I'm writing romance. Don't know why it helps, but it does.
Eating sunflower seeds as I write somehow helps me write. Don't know why but it does.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I have read so many that I can't really pinpoint which authors or books have inspired me. In a way, they have all inspired me.
What are you working on now?
I am currently working on a paranormal romance novel, the first in a series. It is about Sophia, a woman who can see the future, and her romance with Lucifer, the Devil. This novel is on the dark side. I'm hoping to have it finished mid-2017.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Since I have only finished the one book I'm not exactly sure what it the best method or website. I'm still trying to figure it out.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
If you stop writing, you'll prove that voice in your head that says you can't do it right. Keep writing and prove it wrong.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Write. Finish novel. Edit/Rewrites. Publish. Rinse and repeat.
What are you reading now?
Several books. Most of them are romance and I have a few horror and sci-fi on the list as well.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Finishing my second book and then working on my third and onwards.
What is your favorite book of all time?
Not really a book, but a whole series. Harry Potter.
