Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’ve written ten books, all in the young-adult fiction/horse genre. I have a series, the ‘Morgan Horse’ series, that has sold over 75,000 copies and the star of the series, a horse named Blackjack, was honored with a model made in his honor by a toy company. The model was sold with a copy of his book, Blackjack: Dreaming of a Morgan Horse.
I get most of my ideas from my barn full of horses. I have eleven horses and they are all featured in my books.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
