Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am from the beautiful island of Trinidad in the Caribean and it is pretty hot here.(no pun intended).
I was a former banker and I also worked in The Insurance Industry for ten years. After my retirement I turned to writing.
I have written nine books, eight of which are in paperback. I chose Create Space to print my books because they were recommended by Amazon where I published the Kindle Editions.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
I love to travel and my latest book is “Travel Memoirs with Pictures – Exploring the world.” It is in Kindle Edition.
I published that book after my last trip to London, Paris, and Germany. in September 2014.
I decided to do a book with pictures because so often we describe places we have visited but people can never really picture it without seeing photographs.
I am not a Trip Adviser or a travel expert. I just wanted to share the wonderful experiences I had on my trips.
The book will also give information to readers about places they may be planning to visit in the near future.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I am best at writing late at nights. The ideas seem to pour in just when it is time to go to bed and I find myself waking until midnight writing my books.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I cannot say that any particular author or Book has influenced me except the Holy Bible. Each of my books have a message for readers and it relates to some quotation or Bible verse.
What are you working on now?
At this time I have not decided on any particular topic for my next book.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I use social media to promote my books. I also have three blogs.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
My advice to new authors is that the world needs your input. What you write, may be made into movies one day. Write to promote love and peace in the world. People are influenced by books and movies.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
My best advice was a Bible quotation,”Do your best and God will do the rest.”
What are you reading now?
The Book of Revelations.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I will continue to write as long as I am alive.
What is your favorite book of all time?
My favorite book is the Holy Bible. There is so much to learn from that book.
