Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I love to read & write, as most authors do. My favorite thing is either staying up late with a hot cup of coffee & writing or being curled up on the couch with a really good book.
I enjoyed reading as a kid and would spend a whole day reading a complete R.L. Stine book. As a child, the "Goosebumps" series were my favorite & later on the "Fear Street" series. I also enjoyed the "Babysitters Club" books. Not long after and I began writing short novellas. This started a process in me that I can no longer stay away from. Some of my favorites authors these days include: Nicholas Sparks, Kristin Hannah, and Lili St. Germain.
If I'm not writing, I'm reading & if I'm not reading, I'm writing!
I have 2 published books & the 3rd will be releasing on March 24, 2017!
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is title, "Brokenhearted." A close friend of mine inspired the events of the book, although it is mostly made up.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not that I am aware of.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I am a huge Nicholas Sparks fan so all his books have influenced me in one way or another.
What are you working on now?
I'm currently in the editing stages of a series.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I try to promote on Twitter, mostly.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Keep writing! Don't give up!
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
"We write for our passion, not to make money." This was an unknown source, but it is so true. I am not writing to become a famous, multi-million dollar author (although it would be nice, LOL). I write because I love it and creating worlds and characters is a lot of fun for me.
What are you reading now?
At the moment, I'm actually not reading anything (eek! I know!) I am spending any little bit of free time editing my current work in progress.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I just want to continue writing, creating stories. As long as I am able to keep telling my tales, then nothing can make me happier.
What is your favorite book of all time?
"The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks. What a beautiful love story!
